What OPAL actually is on-chain

Opal is an ERC-20 deployed on Ethereum, at contract address 0x199E2CFaf8B4f2CC5423971EF3749d1c89Cf815C. That address, not the ticker OPAL, is what uniquely identifies this asset: anyone can deploy a second token calling itself OPAL, but the contract is unforgeable. Verify it against etherscan.io before sending funds or approving a spend.
