What CRT actually is on-chain

Carrot is an SPL token deployed on Solana, at contract address CRTx1JouZhzSU6XytsE42UQraoGqiHgxabocVfARTy2s. That address, not the ticker CRT, is what uniquely identifies this asset: anyone can deploy a second token calling itself CRT, but the contract is unforgeable. Verify it against solscan.io before sending funds or approving a spend.

On Solana the token account model means CRT is held in an associated token account derived from the mint above, and a wallet has to be rent-funded in SOL before it can receive the token at all.
