What CASH actually is on-chain

CASH is an SPL token deployed on Solana, at contract address CASHx9KJUStyftLFWGvEVf59SGeG9sh5FfcnZMVPCASH. That address, not the ticker CASH, is what uniquely identifies this asset: anyone can deploy a second token calling itself CASH, but the contract is unforgeable. Verify it against solscan.io before sending funds or approving a spend.

On Solana the token account model means CASH is held in an associated token account derived from the mint above, and a wallet has to be rent-funded in SOL before it can receive the token at all. Fees are a fraction of a cent, so the cost of trading CASH is dominated by pool slippage in Raydium and Orca pools, not by gas — the opposite of the EVM case.

A supply in the hundreds of millions keeps the unit price in a range where round-number levels are genuinely traded, which makes price-threshold alerts more reliable than they are on high-supply tokens.

What kind of asset CASH is

CASH is pegged to the US dollar, so the only price question that matters is whether the peg holds; trend and momentum readings on a dollar peg describe noise, not direction.
