What HOP actually is on-chain

Hop Protocol is an ERC-20 deployed on Ethereum, at contract address 0xc5102fe9359fd9a28f877a67e36b0f050d81a3cc. That address, not the ticker HOP, is what uniquely identifies this asset: anyone can deploy a second token calling itself HOP, but the contract is unforgeable. Verify it against etherscan.io before sending funds or approving a spend.
