What QI actually is on-chain

Qi Dao is an ERC-20 deployed on Base, at contract address 0xd3fdcb837dafdb7c9c3ebd48fe22a53f6dd3d7d7. That address, not the ticker QI, is what uniquely identifies this asset: anyone can deploy a second token calling itself QI, but the contract is unforgeable. Verify it against basescan.org before sending funds or approving a spend.

Because it lives on Base, QI is held in any EVM-compatible wallet, transfers are paid for in ETH rather than in QI itself, and secondary liquidity sits in Aerodrome and Uniswap pools.
