Key Facts
Re Protocol (RE) is a blockchain-based platform that democratizes access to reinsurance risk by tokenizing exposure to insurance contracts. The protocol’s two deposit tokens—reUSD and reUSDe—let users choose between a principal-protected, fixed-yield product (reUSD, RF + 250 bps) or a risk-bearing, variable-yield option (reUSDe, up to ~23 % APR). Built on Ethereum, Avalanch, Arbitrum and Base, Re Protocol leverages decentralized underwriting pools to generate transparent, market-driven insurance returns. Governance and treasury functions are overseen by the Cayman-based Re Foundation to ensure

Re Protocol reUSD (REUSD) market structure
Derived from this coin's own rank, all-time high and low, supply figures and category tags — not from a template. Every figure below is stated with the date or ratio it came from.
What REUSD actually is on-chain
Re Protocol reUSD is an ERC-20 deployed on Ethereum, at contract address 0x5086bf358635b81d8c47c66d1c8b9e567db70c72. That address, not the ticker REUSD, is what uniquely identifies this asset: anyone can deploy a second token calling itself REUSD, but the contract is unforgeable. Verify it against etherscan.io before sending funds or approving a spend.
Because it lives on Ethereum, REUSD is held in any EVM-compatible wallet, transfers are paid for in ETH rather than in REUSD itself, and secondary liquidity sits in Uniswap-style AMM pools. Two consequences follow for anyone setting alerts: you need ETH in the same wallet to move the token at all, and a quoted price taken from a pool is a pool price — it includes slippage that an order-book quote would not.
Another asset tracked on this site also uses the ticker REUSD: Resupply USD (Ethereum, 0x57aB…4Bec). The asset on this page is specifically the Ethereum deployment at 0x5086…0c72. These are unrelated tokens with separate contracts, separate supply and separate price histories — a price alert set on one of them says nothing about the others, and a ticker search is not enough to tell them apart.
For REUSD the project publishes a whitepaper and an active account as @re. That is a partial paper trail — enough to check claims against, not enough to audit. None of it is a quality judgement about the asset; it is simply what can be independently checked before the chart is worth looking at.
Where REUSD sits in the market
#202 places Re Protocol reUSD in the upper mid-cap band. This is where continuous two-sided quoting stops being guaranteed. REUSD still prints regularly, but the depth behind each print thins out through the session, and the same order that barely registers in the morning can set the day's high in a quieter hour.
We are not currently receiving a live REUSD order book from any of the exchanges connected to this site, so no real-time quote is shown above. That is itself information: it usually means the pair is unlisted on the venues we track, or trading has been halted. REUSD is a Ethereum asset, so whatever turnover exists is most likely in Uniswap-style AMM pools rather than on a centralised book, and every fill there costs ETH in gas on top of the pool's own fee.
REUSD against its all-time high
Re Protocol reUSD's record high is $1.08, set on 2025-10-10. That high sits in a range where whole-cent and whole-unit levels are genuinely traded, which makes them usable as alert thresholds if a quote returns. It was set about a year ago, so it belongs to the current cycle but not to current conditions. We are not quoting a drawdown from it because no tracked venue is giving us a live REUSD price — a stale or single-pool number would make that percentage look precise when it is not.
REUSD across its historical range
The recorded range is comparatively narrow: 1.23x between $0.8734 and $1.08. Either the price history is short, or the asset is designed not to move.
The record low of $0.8734 was printed on 2025-07-17 — roughly 1 years ago. We have no live quote to measure the current distance from it.
REUSD supply structure
There is no fixed maximum supply for REUSD. Total supply stands at 161.7 million REUSD and essentially all of it — 100.0% — is circulating. With no locked treasury to unlock, dilution comes from protocol issuance over time rather than from a cliff on a vesting calendar, which tends to produce slow supply drift instead of discrete unlock shocks. A supply in the hundreds of millions keeps the unit price in a range where round-number levels are genuinely traded, which makes price-threshold alerts more reliable than they are on high-supply tokens.
What kind of asset REUSD is
Re Protocol reUSD trades primarily as an ecosystem asset rather than as a base-layer network of its own, which means it carries a beta to its host chain. When the host chain's native asset rallies, tokens in its ecosystem typically amplify the move in both directions, and liquidity for them is concentrated on that chain's venues.
CoinGecko files REUSD under 8 categories, including BNB Chain Ecosystem, Insurance, Avalanche Ecosystem, Arbitrum Ecosystem, Ethereum Ecosystem. CoinGecko also records deployments on BNB Chain (2,027 tracked tokens), Avalanche (256 tracked tokens), Arbitrum (391 tracked tokens), so on-chain liquidity is split across several networks and the cheapest venue depends on which deployment you are trading.
How to set a Re Protocol reUSD alert that is worth receiving
Re Protocol reUSD is the ERC-20 at 0x5086…0c72 on Ethereum — high dated 2025-10-10 — rank #202. On this profile the condition that carries signal is a two-sided price threshold beyond the recent band plus a 4-hour or daily RSI condition.
